Why these records are the same person
- Idaho Secretary of State final candidate list for the 2026 general election (c-11fe85d47f34): Emre Houser, Independent, United States Representative, District 2, filed 2026-02-26, Approved. The FEC candidate page and bulk file (c-aaac07243355) name HOUSER, EMRE, Independent, House, Idaho 02, with HOUSER FOR IDAHO as principal committee. Name, office, district and party match, and the mailing address in the Secretary of State's response and the one in the FEC candidate and committee rows are both a P.O. box in Boise (neither is repeated in the record).
- The campaign website houserforidaho.com (c-42ea11ca5c8a) says it is 'Paid for by Houser For Idaho', the name of FEC committee C00945923 (c-78d173cfdd40), and its footer gives a P.O. box in Boise, the one on the Secretary of State filing and the FEC rows. Ballotpedia (c-254ab1e92d5c) and BallotReady link the same site from his profile.
- The Clerk of the U.S. House lists a candidate financial disclosure by Emre Houser, Congressional Candidate, ID02, election year 2026, filed 2026-04-20 (document 10075878), which matches his office and district; the FEC statement of candidacy (FEC-1962671) is dated 2026-04-14 and the committee was registered 2026-04-01.
- No namesake found for the candidate: Wikidata returns no item for 'Emre Houser', congress-legislators has no Houser, and the Idaho Secretary of State's whole filed-candidate list has one other Houser, a candidate for a county office in another county, with no known tie to him. No Houser is on the 2026 Idaho House or Senate rosters, and no Emre Houser appears in the Idaho primary and general results for 2018 to 2026 or in the Ada County results read.
- The business ties are weaker than the candidacy ties and are stated as such: the Idaho business registry lists EMRE HOUSER as agent of BALCONY CLUB, INC. (THE), and his House candidate report names The Balcony Club, Inc as a business he owns; the match is the name and the report, with no other attribute in the registry row. BallotReady's employer and degree entries and the military entries on his campaign website rest on his own account.
As captured on 2026-11-01, the campaign website at houserforidaho.com names Emre Houser as its candidate and says it is paid for by 'Houser For Idaho'.
As captured on 2026-11-01, Ballotpedia's page for Emre Houser lists him as an independent candidate for U.S. House Idaho District 2 in the November 3, 2026 general election and links houserforidaho.com as his campaign website.

Corrections
The statement now says what the cited FEC committee page shows: HOUSER FOR IDAHO is a House principal campaign committee registered April 1, 2026, and the page names HOUSER, EMRE as its authorizing candidate. The clauses "Independent" and "Idaho District 2" were removed; the committee page prints neither.
The locators now name the block of the FEC page that carries the text: the committee page's 'Authorizing candidate' callout (which links candidate H6ID02282), and the candidate page's 'Committees' block (HOUSER FOR IDAHO as principal campaign committee). Statements, objects and sources are unchanged.
Two statements now follow the page's wording. The home-page phrases are described as the banner text, not as headings (they are paragraph text, below the hero line 'For People, Not Powerful Interests'). The monopolies statement no longer says 'meatpacking, pork, chicken and milk processing' (the word meatpacking is not on the page); it names the four beef, pork, chicken and milk processors the page lists as examples.
Ten statements that paraphrased the campaign website were reworded to use its own words, in quotation marks where the words are the page's: 'tech school' (not 'technical school'), 'decided to separate from active duty', 'We must properly fund the VA', the Medical Spending Savings estimate, the Fairness Doctrine and stock-buyback section titles, the Social Security cap passage with the dollar figure the page gives, the Tax Fairness phrases, the executive-order sentence, and, on the About page, that in 2025 he 'walked away' from the two-party system and changed his registration to Unaffiliated (the page does not date the registration change itself). Excerpts were widened to the words relied on. Objects and sources are unchanged.
The statement now gives both status fields of the registry row: STATUS 'Active-Good Standing' and STANDING 'Not Good Standing'. It had quoted only the first.
